Platform at the stern

As many people will know there is something called 'Mediterranean mooring' which means either bow to or stern to but not alongside the dock. In larger boats than Liza stern to is not a problem because there is an inboard motor and so it's just the stern of the boat that is against the dock (with a fender). But with an outboard any movement in high winds or error in mooring is likely to damage the outboard motor. Which means we have moored Liza bow to and one climbs over the pull pit to board her. So, what I wanted was what we tend to call a bathing platform which would actually allow one to step onto the platform from the shore and also protect the outboard motor. I designed the metalwork in CAD and had Technometaliki do all the bending and welding of the pipework, and AndreouLaser cut and fold all the other pieces. I must say Vasilli at Technometaliki did an amazing job on the platform I was really pleased. I bought some end of line composite decking from a Facebo
