And we're back sailing! Well, strictly the photo shows me back in the marina after a brief sail.  And Helen sitting on the dock eating! A rather strange Navtex message from the Turkish RCC.   

 

15th November 2022 I had a phone call from the marina asking me to come down to discuss something. Initially that worried me as I thought there must be something wrong with Liza . They assured me there wasn't and when I got there the marina operations director asked if they could use Liza as the 'Christmas boat'. So…  21st November 2022 Liza was lifted out of the water 1 week later! I had been intending lifting her to do bi-annual maintenance in the spring, so that was brought forward. There was very little growth on the hull. A little on the bottom of the keels but for two years in the water I was very pleased with how little there was. Probably because I sail her a lot so there is regular water movement.  Then she was moved round to the entrance to the new marina village where there are sheds with food and other shops and a large Christmas tree in the middle. Apparently having a lit up Christmas boat is a Greek island tradition and this was to be started now in Cyprus i
